Members 50 and over. No exceptions.
Turned 50?
Welcome to the Club.
There’s no leaving.
You hit 50 and realized you’re halfway there, or more. Congratulations. You’re no longer new. You’re original condition.
The Manifesto
Built to last. Proven it.
Patina is earned. Polish is allowed.
Collectors love an original piece. They also love a good restoration. Wear yours however you like.
You can’t buy your way in.
Membership is issued by birth certificate. We do not take bribes. We do take compliments.
Restored still counts as original.
New knee, new hip, new hair color, a little nip and tuck. Same piece. Still collectible.
Nobody tells us to act our age.
Fifty is not a dress code. Botox, bold color, a skincare shelf that costs more than your first car, or none of it. Age is how you feel.
Thou shalt not lie about thy year.
Shaving years off is refinishing. Refinishing destroys value. Say the number proudly.
No member is appraised alone.
When one of us turns 50, the rest of us show up. In person, in the comments, or in matching shirts.
The Rite of Appraisal
You don’t sign up. You arrive.
Every member passes through the same four stages. There is no shortcut, and believe us, people have asked.
The Waiting
Forty-nine years as a Reproduction, pretending you understand the slang.
The Realization
The moment you do the math and think, “Oh shoot. I’m halfway there.” This is sacred. Do not skip it.
The Appraisal
Your 50th. You receive your Certificate of Original Fixture, stamped with your year of manufacture.
The Oath
Spoken aloud, ideally with a drink in hand. Your name joins the Just Appraised roll.
I am original condition. I will not be told how to act my age by anyone still in their thirties. I restore, refinish and touch up as I please, and I stay real about the rest. I show up for every Appraisal. No refunds. No exceptions. Welcome to the Club.

50 or over? You’re in. Under 50? You’re on the list, and we’ll email you on your Appraisal day, not a minute before. Either way, we need your year of manufacture.
